The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management offers exciting options for students interested in business careers.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

In plain words, Supply Chain Management (SCM) consists of all the activities that take place to get a product in your hands - from the time of raw materials extraction to the minute you pull out your credit card and take the final product home. SCM focuses on planning and forecasting, purchasing, product assembly, moving, storing, and keeping track of a product as it flows toward you and other consumers.

Demand for professionals in this field is growing quickly as firms realize the benefits of increased profitability through improved efficiency.

OU's Supply Chain Management provides an invaluable education experience based of real-world application of distribution, marketing, and management practices. Students take courses in logistics management, purchasing and buying behavior, production operations management, and inventory and materials management.

A Supply Chain Management student graduates with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Advanced degrees include Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy.
